Most Haunted???

I watch the Most Haunted show, but am still in denial of it being reality. I like watching shows that attempt to capture ghosts, but with the one I feel that a lot of it has not happened. There is truth behind the stories, but things that happen when they are there seems set up. I don't think that ghosts respond as much as they seem to on the show. What do you think? Is the show a hoax, or actual happenings? In my opinion, a show will do anything to bring in ratings, without ratings they are cancelled.

I watch the show too. What confuses me is that they will ask for a spirit to do something then once it does they freak out curse, run and scream..its kinda funny, but yeah I've never seen them get real evidence. Have you ever watched Taps? its like most haunted in that they search for spirits, but they look for prove and they disprove a lot too. They have a lot of videos of spirits and a lot of audio. But unlike most haunted they only will go with solid proof like first hand sightings or video, or voice recording.

Hmmm...I've never heard of Taps, but I would love to see it. I'm not sure if we get it in Canada.
Anyway, yes I love shows like "Most Haunted". I used to watch MTV's "Fear" and also "World's Most Scariest Places" before they were taken off the air. Fear was kinda cheesy but WMSCP was great!
I think some of Most Haunted is staged, like some of the rappings and bangs. I understand that they have to make it entertaining or else people won't watch. But I do wish there was a show available here that was put on by SERIOUS paranormal investigators. Meaning, professionals who won't run off screaming at every little noise. Though there are a couple people on Most Haunted that are great, like Richard, Stuart and Yvette's hubby (his name escapes me right now). And I do like David Wells more than Derek Acora, because Derek seemed too much of a showman.

Yeah I agree a lot of the stuff on most haunted does seem staged, but some of the crew members are great.

I really did like the show until Derek left. In my opinion, he really made the show. Without him, the show just seems rather boring.
I think some of the stuff happens, but I think the other stuff is imagined. The host does a lot of freaking out, and I really think she freaks out for no reason and people take her freaking out as something happened. That's the only thing that irks me about the show.

I'm with most of your responders on here, I loved it while Derek was on there but have gone off it since David has been doing it. It's definately not a hoax, especially if you watch the live versions of it, if they are acting, then they all deserve an oscar especially the one last Halloween when they were in the vaults in Edinburgh!

Used to watch it till Derek left. I think that they do make some of it up, but I do still believe in ghosts

I do believe in the supernatural, but I don't know about that show in particular. There is no denying that things happen and there is no real reasoning behind them.
