Earlier this week my neice had a beautiful baby boy. Her pregnancy came as a suprise as she is unmarried with the father being a dead-beat. She considered terminating her pregnancy in the early months with much presure from her boyfriend. Obviously she decided to keep the child and raise him on her own. She is twenty years old has only a part time job and life will be tough. All of her family has been very supportive. Yesterday the most wonderful thing happened. She called up her mother and told her she was so much in love she couldn't even hardly stand it. She has experienced the unconditional pure love that only a mother knows with her child. I am so happy for her, her little bundle is in such good hands now. Have any parents out there went from feeling as if this child has changed their lives more than they can handle to holding that special little one and knowing with the bond and love everything some how will work out? Motherhood is wonderful!!!

It is indeed; and it's the most important job in the world. It will be tough for your niece but well worth it. She now has a beautiful child to love and raise. Who knows what wonderful contributions he will make to the world. I have a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing niece that my brother and his wife adopted. She has been such a blessing to our family. What if her birh mother had decided to abort her? What an awful, incomprehensible tradegy that would have been. I wish your niece all the best.

Thank you for your sweet post. I know that my niece has now felt that love she can never turn away from and that is the foundation of being a good mother. I was worried at first but now I can rest assured. best wishes
