Can fish smell underwater?

i was laughing like hell upon seeing your subject tittle.At a glimpse,i was reading "Can fish smell underwear?" Very funny,hahaha..after reading back..i was wrong..Sorry!!! haha,i think fish also have their own special sense that allow them to smell underwater.Every creatures have their own speacial ability that god made for them.

Yes, I am positive they can. That is why when you are fishing a fish will actually go right up to your bait and smell it before biting. Also, you will catch many more fish with live bait than you will with an artificial lure. Just for one reason. They can smell it.
