I have had my Magnavox 26 inch colored television for eleven years now. I can not believ it myself. It was a Christmas gift from an old boyfriend. The t.v. has out lasted him by about nine year. I have not had any problems with it yet. My sister had one exactly like mine and hers recently went out, however, she has kids, so theirs got a lot more use than mine does. It is the perfect size for me. Not to big, not to small. The picture is nice and sharp and it has on-screen programming. At first, I wanted a television and V.C.R. combo until my boyfriend said that I should purchase them separately. He say that when you purchase the combo, If on part breaks down, it all breaks down. I am so glad that I agreed.

He's right I have heard the some thing. I have a small t.v. in my bed room with a vcr attached my momma gave me for my birthday 5 years ago so far it has lasted. It use it more to play my playstation 2 games more then anything else. I just recived the American Idol Revoloution game. I love playing that game. It is so much fun you sing and then the judges rate you on how well you have sung.

I have an RCA colortrack 2000. It is almost 26 years old and still going beautiful. the ones you buy today are garbage. You may get a few years out of them but then they die. I work at a transfer station and we see alot more new ones thjrown away than old ones. I guess the old saying is true. They don't make them like they used to.
