So they're going to change the ending of Spaceship Earth in Epcot. They're going to allow guests to choose their own experience of the future. A touch screen will let them choose how they want to see themselves living in the future. To me, it sounds like they're combining the old Horizons ride with Spaceship Earth and I couldn't be happier! That was my favorite part of the ride and am excited to see the new changes. It's going to be sponsored by Siemens What do you all think of the changes?

Well I admit it's been a while since I've been to EPCOT but that sounds like a great change to it. It's usually nice when they update the rides and any time you make it so you can choose the adventure just makes it even better. I'll be curious to see how it is afterwards.

I agree - it is nice when they update, but sometimes they do too much for the general public to handle all at once. Sounds like with so many people missing Horizons, they found a way to bring part of that back :).

Although I haven't ridden it yet, I did hear the audio. I miss the Jeremy Irons narration and the old theme music. Early reviews from the soft or test opening say that the new scenes and audio animatronics are great, but the touch screen ending is not very good.

I think it sounds great. I love Spaceship Earth, but it can definitely use these upgrades. I can't wait to go back once all the changes are complete and experience it.
