At what age did your baby start sleeping through the night and what do you think you have done to help soothe your baby so he/she can sleep peacefully through the night?

at about 4 months but she had a really rough start and had surgery at 4 weeks so it took a little while to get her on a routine.

My first one was the same way for the same reason she had her first surgery at 3 months. But after that she was good.

My son started sleeping through the night at about 2 months old. Just make sure that he has gotten enough formula for the day and wont get ungry at night. If you have to give him a little extra before bed than that is fine! NEVER put cereal in your babies bottle. They could inhale it into their longs. It is not a good ideas atall. Give him a bath right before bed. Lotion him down and make sure he has comfortable and warm clothes on. Thermal or fleece blankets are good. They keep your baby warmer. Most of the reason babies wont sleep is because their little baby blanket is just not cuttin it. They need something warmer. Wrap and swaddle him up tight in the blanket. Put on soothing music if you can. Record yourself singing if possible. Throw his blanket in the dryer right before bed to get it nice and warm. Good Luck.

holy how are you moms doign it?? my son is 10 months now hes over weight and a big eater, he gets lots to eat during the day, we calm the mood down at 7-7:30 start doing calm quiet things, read, bath, play his classical music box, put him to bed in flece jammies all snug, he'll wake up at 12 or 1 and we'll try and put him back out some times it works some times not, then if he dosnt eat he'll wake back up at around 4 and refuse to go back to bed till he eats, a pacifer/suthor is nessessary in putting him to sleep
