what do you do to get rid of pressure?

some say they yell, throw things, sit in a dark room, there are many ways of doing it. i close my eyes and count to 10 and then if that doesnt work i do it again and again. there have been times i think i made it to 1000. lol. hubby goes into a room and relaxs. my oldest yells into her pillow. my youngest is like me she just closes her eyes. everyday little things happen and they build and build till sometimes we feel like we want to explode. i use to be one that just let it all pile up and then i would just lose it. now though when i start feeling upset i just close my eyes and count. then i think about what and why and how to change it. what do you do?

one should try to be calm and composed when going through this kind of situation and handle it with the mind. But yeah once you feel it's all getting way too much and out of control, yelling out would be as natural as anything. when you feel you can't stop yourself anymore, just pile up everything you have tolerated in the past and let it out once in a go. once you're done, you'd feel better, i reckon.

I used to be like that too. I would just let things build up and then I would blow. But now, if I am talking to someone and they are complaining about something I try to just listen and let them finish talking. I don't let it get to me, just because they are feeling upset doesn't mean it has to upset me. Then I try to answer without just giving them an answer in the can type answer. I guess what I am saying is, I just try not to let things even bother me in the first place. I know I am happy with me as a person and that I try to do right by others. If things go wrong, I do whatever is in my control to correct the problem. If it is out of your control, then it is out of your control. If not do something about it. Getting upset never resolved anything.

you actually counting when you upset? if i do this when im upset i will become more upset,hehe.i got something more interesting like listen to music,find someone to talk to and see a movie,but mostly i will want to be alone to this.It seems like I got upset periodically like twice a month,tonight I got upset and didnt want to study so I just stayed in the roof until I feel much better.Anyway something funy may help I think,wish you good luck and never got upset.
