will Mylot ever decrease our star rating?

hi.. i am a student. and i have my exams.. so i may not be able to visit Mylot regularly,in fact not all active..i doubt if Mylot will decrease my ratings or rank if am not active.. Mylotters help me out.

Your star rating is not given by myLot itself, but by the other myLot users. It takes into account the quality of your posts, meaning how many + ratings you got and how many -. Nothing will happen to your star simply because you go away. If it will change it will be because some users rated some of your answers while you were away. Depending on what ratings you got your star may go up or down. Or it may stay exactly the same if no one rates answers of yours while you're away.

hi I think mylot have no concern with staring and rating as it will increase or decrease depending upon wether more and more people are rating your response or discussion depending upon quality of the response or discussion.
