Whoooo, I got my first star today. I have no idea what the star is for, for I think its for some social thing. The more you have, the more popular you are on myLot. Of course I have no idea what I'm talking about, but the star sure looks cool. It took me 5 days to get a star and its colored yellow with a number 8. What's the star about anyways? and when did you guys get your first one?

Of course, just message me when you have a question about something and if I don't know, I'll try to find out. Here's my blog which tracks my online money making adventures: www.slimwallet.blogspot.com

The star shows, how the other members have rated your discussions and responses, i.e. it depends on amount of + ratings you've got. If you have posted only 124 and have a yellow star, it's pretty good. I'm sure, soon it will be red (it's 9), and then blue (10). I helped a bit too, you got a + for this conversation from me LOL!

Oh, so that's what's it for, I thought I was really popular or something. So its all in the ratings. Thx for rating.

Its the average ratings of your posts, and how many users pressed + for you. Just avoid entering flame wars, or youll be stuck with a perpetual "6" like me. :-P ---------------- Have a nice day -JCM-

Congratulations for your first star. I remember I got mine first when I reached 100 posts. I think that the star depends on how mylot users rate you. But it any way we can take that as if someone has a 10 rating then they are better than someone who has less than 10. I think it comes from the plus, negative and the exclamation ratings. I once had 10 stars but then it dropped to 9 and I don't know why. Since it dropped to 9 I never got it to 10 again. But I don't bother with that anymore. As far as I know it does not affect our earnings that's what is most important. If it was the case that would be too bad because if somebody doesn't like you and they always rate you with the minus and exclamation ratings then they can make you earns less! I'm happy that it doesn't work that way. Take care.
