I noticed (like I'm usually doing every spring) that I don't fit in my skirts anymore. Most of my things are EU size 38 but luckily I have some skirts size 40 also. I'm always gaining weight in winter because I can't walk enough then. Now the snow is gone, and I started to walk every day 2x3km, to work and back home again. And guess what? Last week I could wear again one of my favorite skirts! Of course, there are still about 5 kg too much but just a couple of weeks walking helped already! What are you doing to melt your winter fat (if you have gained some LOL!)

I have a very hard time loosing and keeping wgt off, have all my life. I guess it runs in my family. I did loose 85-100lbs in 2004 but they jan 2005 I fell and broke my wrist and was laid up for 3 months and gain alot of it back. Since then I have been trying to get it off. I go up and down in wgt. I do work out every day at work because we have a workout room at work with 3 tread mills , 1 eliptical maching, a stationary bike and all wgt machines there to lift wgts. I still have a problem, my main thing is changing my diet drasticlly to lose wgt. Have to stop eating bread, must lay of the sweets, and I will have to keep a strick log of everything I eat. And no eating after 7pm is a must.

Bread is actually my problem - black rye bread, toasted, just delicious... I can't live without it.

one thing that works for me to shed some pounds are jogging and fruit diet. you eat nothing but fruits for two weeks. it is not easy though cause sometimes you get sick of eating same thing everyday. but it really does work and i always do this after holiday so i could shed the holiday weight that i have gain.

About 10 years ago I was way overweight, so I decided to lose some weight with changes in diet and exercising, nothing strenuous since I am on the old side...lol...I managed to lose about 100 pounds, but I want to lose another 50 or so. The last few come off really hard though.

I being a health geege always try to keep my body fit , i do regular exercise, true that its hard at winter but in winter if you do aerobics and free hands i belive it will help , even if you cannot go for a walk.

Not a bad idea, the aerobics. The main problem is, the day has just 24 hours only!

lol, walking is really a good way to lose some weight.and it's healthy. i use most of the time in a day sitting before the computer,no matter winter or summer,i think this is quite wrong,at least i should go out and walk for a while after one hour or two.and that not only makes me fit,but also can improve my eye vision,at least keep it. another way in summer is drinking a lot of water, then i will not feel hungry at noon, and when it is hot,i eat a little, this will help lose some weight too.
