virgin coconut oil capsule cure for hepatitis?

ive read from one of the local newspaper here in my place that indeed the virgin coconut oil capsule or any form of such oil was found to have substance that may cure hepatitis this was based on some testimonials of the locals. but i am wondering also because my mom died due to liver cancer and she died ilast year in the united states and when she was here in our house she was never diagnosed of that ailness and i concluded that maybe the lifestyle and the food because she always cooked our local dish with the component of coconut milk and i also concluded that this maybe it cant cure but maybe just preventing the virus or harmful organisms to multiply... guys pls help me on it...thanks
