Tell me what you love about your chocolate labrador... and hate!!!

I have a beautiful chocolate labrador by the name of Milo (like the chocolate drink). At just a year old, he has managed to bring out the best, the worst and everything in between out of me. I haven't read "Marley & Me" yet but am told that my Milo has very similar traits... Just wanted to find out from others what you love and hate about your favorite dog...

I have a 2 year old female chocolate lab named lilly.Man is she a fun dog,and smart but at times she can be really hyper. I have been working to train her to go bird hunting with me but lately she hasnt really been listening to my comands. She does know how to sit, lay,come,fetch,and to stay but we are having a hard time retreiveing and finding the training wings.Maybe she just doesnt have a good since of smell.Even if i cant get her to commit to bird hunting i would never get rid of her.Chocolate labs are very smart and loving dogs and lilly has really become part of my family.
