What is the general opinion of those on these discussion boards about the (allegedly, at least until proven) corrupt practices of church leadership in the U.S. http://www.kansascity.com/255/story/35011.html I was once, regrettably, a part of the church in this article (more articles are pending) and wonder if the pain and anguish caused not only by the fiscal impropriety I witnessed there (as a staff member at one point) but also by the general abuse of power/influence is relatively rare or commonplace? How do actions like this affect your view of God?
