Is your spouse a bed hog

My husband starts off on his side of the bed when we fall asleep and then later on I might wake up to find that I am literally hanging off the edge of the bed because he has scooted all the way over onto my side.

Hi Lenapoo; I have another angle on this bed hog situation. My Hubby was the worst kind of bed hog years ago. He was always pushing me over and over until I was hanging onto the edge of the bed. I'd have to try and wake him enough to push him back over to his side just so I could get some sleep. He has been working out of town for the last ten years now and unfortunately we've spent a lot of time apart in those years. His job takes him all over the country for weeks or months at a time. Last year I saw him a total of 2 1/2 months, and even then it was only for 3 or 4 days at a time. Since we have spent so much time sleeping alone we've both become bed hogs, but the really great thing is that we tend to sleep toward the middle of the bed. He was home just last week for a visit and every morning we awoke in each other's arms! For someone who has been married for 22 years, it was like being newlyweds all over again. It was a really good week; for both of us! He'll get to come back home in a month to see our youngest graduate High School and I'm looking so forward to having my "bed hog" back in my arms again. :)

He doesn't hog the bed but he hogs the covers!! I can't begin to count the number of times I've woken up in the middle of the night shivering cos' he's "stolen" all the covers! Urrgghh!!!

I have the same problem, except my likes to sleep caty-cornered across the bed. That and the fact that he often flails his arms and wallops me, make sleep sometimes rather difficult. Most mornings find me sleeping on the couch. We even tried buying a new bed, but that didn't help either. Good luck to you.
