Real Movie of the Simpsons will real actors. Not Drawn. How true?

I have watched a video that looks like a movie trailer for the simpsons movie. My friend had told me that the new simpson movie won't be cartoons. is this true? I saw the trailer and it's funny. However, i wish they'd make it cartoons. Although the exact same intro video was copied, I still don't think the actors make up as a good representation for the cartoon characters. For one thing, they're no longer colored yellow. Homer doesn't look homer. Bart doesn't look bart. Bart only looks like him with his hair. Aside from that Marge didn't look like Marge. Marge's hair was not copied from the movie. I wish they found a better actor that would look much like the cartoon. Even if it meant them looking freaky. *wink! So anyway, i feel like the whole illusion of having a simpson family in cartoon world would be ruined. I guess the actors will be good. But i still want it drawn than actors acting. What are your reactions to this?

It's animated not live actors for the movie. However, once they did one of the opening credits for the show (where they all run in and jump on the couch) with live actors.

I wonder if they are thinking of the opening sequence the Simpsons did a while back with live people? It isn't meant to be a movie trailer, just a fun new opening sequence for one episode. I thought it was really well done!

The new Simpsons movie set to be released at the end of July and it is an animated movie... there has never been a plan to release a live-action Simpsons movie.

As you will see at these sites, it is still an animated movie. I don't know where you got that other video, but there has never been a significant plan for a live-action movie.

I've seen trailers for the simpsons movie on FOX a few times, and it is most definately an animated movie. If they had made it a live-action movie, I think that would have been a big mistake, since a lot of the simpsons characters don't look realistic at all. I'm not sure yet if I'll watch it in theaters though, probably just wait and rent it on DVD.

I've seen the trailers and it looks rather promising. I think it's best that it's an animated movie. I don't think it would look right in a live action style.
I'll probably want to check it out and see if it's any good. I think it could turn out good or it could turn to be a flop. Either way, no one will know until it's out for sure.

that trailer was either a fake or a fan movie...the REAL trailer shows the movie as it is intended to be... THE CLASSIC CARTOON THE WORLD HAS COME TO LOVE... the simpsons...Duff man says..."OOOOOOOHHHHHH YEAAAAAH" lol sorry i felt like doing that....but yes the movie will be animated and it will rock!!!

I have never seen the Trailer yet for this movie. I guess I might have to go check it out though, and see what I think. But if they are not Yellow, will it gain a following or it will be like some of the other Cartoons they try to make Movies from, and end up being DUDS and not worth watching? I guess time will tell when the movie hits Theaters.

I think you might have seen the "live actor" opening of one of the Simpson's show, not the trailer to the movie. The movie is totally animated. I think the first respondent gave you a link about it. I have already seen the real trailer once. It's classic Simpsons.

Simpsons is my favourite tv show....And I wouldnt miss the oppurtunity of watching a simpson movie...but it would be a big let down if the actors looked so drastically different...
