Got any topic for a persuasive speech???

Al rite now i am a student and I have to got to give a persuasive speech. Now all those who dont know about what a persuasive speech really is then here it goes. It is a kind of speech where one has to persuade or get the listeners agreed to what the speaker is saying. I have got one week time, but no topic or any points in my mind. So can anyone help me with it???

How about a topic such as "alternative fuels for cars." Could include gasohol, vegetable oils, solar, electric. You could present positives for any or all the above and cits global and local environmental benefits as well as costs. Good Luck!

Cool!!! This is really an important topic......but you see the problem is that this topic is too common that many will be giving a speech on this.......so i need some other option. Thanks for the help.
