Hey anybody tried smelt fish? Is it good for health?

Yesterday I bought a packet of frozen smelt fish.I was wondering how to prepare the recipe.I check the nutrition values at the back side of the packet,its showing 50% cholestrol..I dont understand that whether it is good for health or not though its showing that big values.If anybody knows about this post the reply,very helpful to me. Thanks in advance.
