hey everyone, i have some very disturbing news to share today. i was just reading this article about dog/cat fur trading. the undercover investigation into production and sale of cat and dog nearly began 8yrs ago with humane society of the US sending an investigator china to find how intensive is the trade. sadly, 2 million cats and dogs rasied under cruel conditions and then skinned alive, strangled and stab for their furs and skin. it's only done for money.(mental disturb people) Asian merchant bragged that they fraudely label any item to confuse comsumers. , dye to appear as to be faux fur(or even mink) or not label at all!! usa banned the import, export, sale and production of cat and dog in 2002.......when evidence was shown in parka jackets at burlington coat factory and cat figurine on sale at hallmark, sadly both retailer has no idea the items contained real furs. what do you think abt this article?

I'd like to know where you found that article! I have the feeling that it is yet another urban legend being passed around by the "hate fur" people just to add fuel to their fire. Of course, In China, they EAT cats and dogs, so there well may be that many animals killed, but not for their fur.
