Every email has some limit in attachment of 10 MB or 20 MB. You can do the following, first try to reduce the size of photos through photoshop and made jpeg files of small bytes. This will reduce attachment time.
Then don't try to send all the photos in one mail. Instead attach only 5-6 files and send the mail and again do the same. OR you may zip 10 photos in one file so it will be only 6 zip files to upload. Zip also reduces size. I think instead of yahoo you try to attach the files and send through Gmail it has a large limit of attachments to be send. In Gmail I think you can send all photos once. And it is faster in attachment too. To attach 60 photos it may take a total 1 hour minimum so be patient and follow the steps. It should help you.
