Is it easier for a father to discuss about marriage with a son?

When you see your son growing up into an adult, do you think you have to talk with him about the significance of marriage and tell him how to find his another half? Or do you think such thing is a teach-yourself subject? If you think it necessary, then when to start and how?

As a daughter i would like my father to tell me about marriage what are the advantage and disadvantage even when im just a teen. But he just tell me all the disadvantage, he just dont want me to get married. I think as a daughter you must discuss things like that to him or her, why and why not so she or he will understand.

but why did you ask your mother but your father instead? I do think mother would be more convenient to talk things like that. a father would feel awkward to talk about marriage with a daughter I think.
