Politics and cricket are unseperable and they are like twin brothers, be it the selection of the team or within the team politics. Indian team is very famous for it and that is what ruining indian cricket in the recent past and the truth is also that indian team has not won a single major event in the past 15 to 20 years other than world cup. In fact politics, cricket, and movies are what that is ruining india's growth.

BCCI is operated by handful of Indians and with due respect to their chairs I must appreciate that they are not out of the bracket of politics as well. If Mr. Sarad Power has direct involvement with Politics then Mr. Dalmia is no less political being than Mr. Power. We must not forget the golden proverb: "The man is, after all, a political being", and for the Indians, politics is our birth right. You can hardly find a nation with people so much involved in Politics. So we may see some influence of politics in different activities of BCCI and I find no harm in it so far and so long we keep on performing in the field.
