Hey friends you all must have heard/read this quote at some stage of your life either by ur parents,grandparents,teacher or may be atleast read in your primary standard books. And this is actually being practiced by grandparents to this date . Do u believe in this and follow this.? or do you just have to get up early because of various compulsion like one has to go to the office or like me who has to reach my college 10 km from my home by 8:30 in morning.and i usually lend up being late and many times just being not allowed to enter in the class. And for those who follow this,do u getup/sleep early on weekends also??? As far as i am concerned if given a chance to change something i will certainly change morning time atleast to 10:00 am and i dont like to sleep before 2 am

Well I do believe in the quote "Early to bed,Early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy & wise" but I am not able to follow it as I am in habit of sleeping late at night . I tried to follow it many times in my life but just for few days then again I went to my previous routine.I fully agree with the previous responses that we feel very much refreshed in the cool breeze of the morning and also get a lot of time for doing our work.

it is a good health habit to observe this quote. my mother has introduced it to us when we were still very small then, we learned more about it when i started attending school. it can be observed that if we have a full 8 hours sleep each day for a whole week, starting at 9 or earlier in the evening, we feel perfectly good. getting up early in the morning and have a breath of the wisps of early morning air, will make us feel so much even better. good health has always been regarded as wealth in the days of old because, if we are in good health we can earn so much each day as we can go through our daily work and, we will not be spending money on doctor's consultations and medicines. of course, i believe in all these.

Early to bed and early to rise is a good habit. I am working and i have to reach my office by 7.00 am,i get up as early as 5.00 and my day ends by 11.00 pm in the night by taht time i will be on my bed, which is not early to bed. what to do, i have no time. Weekends i sleep one hour extra, i get up at 6-6.30 am. but i enjoy my weekends.:)

Acatully, I am not sure whether it a good habit. For me and most of my classmates, sometimes we love geting up late for we can't make ourselves up in the morning.If we have classes at the morning, we have no choice but to get up early. I used to stay late at night before going to bed,but now I like going to bed earlier. I don't think that if you get up late, you are not a good person.Keep doing exercise is good for keeping your style.

Oh , yes my friend , it is good thing that one of us go to his bed early that thing make him able to wake up early , so that is good for health , and this make one work good , but that problem is that is very dificult , for me , to do this theory because I have to work whole of day at night I have speare time to sesponse my internet work , in fact I have maney works and hoppies and wills , that I my self can not decided which I shall to continue with and which should be leave , thank you my frind of this good discussion , but I thing it is not possible to go to sleep early and wake up early . good bye my mylot frind .

as much as i wanted to be early in bed, i just couldn't! there are still chores which i have to finish until around 10pm and then i still have to wake up 6am to prepare things for the day. during weekends, i'd wake up at around 8 to compensate for my previous waking hours. i think this saying is quite correct because if you have rested really well at night, you will be more healthy and you can think well for the day. you will not feel discomfort because you are well-rested.
