Why is it so hard to give your life to God???

I see alot of people struggling to give their life to God why do they find it so hard. I gave my life to God a number of years ago and I find such joy in knowing that there is something to look forward to after this life and that I am living the best way I can. I have the reasurrance of eternal life.

before i answer the question, let me site a few points to ponder first.
there is a strong line between a believer and a christian. with the first, a person just believe that God exists. the latter, God is the Ultimate.
why do people find it hard to give their life to God? there's this current that would brush them aside from sin if they turn to God. turning to God would mean turning away from sin. can a BELIEVER do that?
the christian on the other hand, not only believes but serve God. so its very easy for them to let God do His way on them.
it is really a struggle for some because God is the God of good and we are expected by God to walk His way. if one can't be like Him how much more giving himself to God? even if God offered eternal life.
