Mine was also my first husband, though we've been apart nearly 20 years, sometimes in memories I still feel pangs of the good relationship we had before it fell apart. Do you?

In my case I can honestly say no.
I lost all feelings for her when she became so cruel and selfish and I've nothing to do with her, so it's really thing which couldn't come back for me.

I think you will always have some feeling for people you have loved. Especially people you have been romantically involved with.
I have been divorced from my first husband for 45 years, and while the marriage ended really badly, I still have some good feelings about him. More like the past is past, but I wish him well. I don't think of him often, but when I do it is without the pain, anger and regrets I had in the past.

Am still young and not married but the best thing happened to me so far was my first love. Nobody forgets their first love, it was so sweet and emotional. It started being friends to best friends and than to lovers. We build something that was so strong that even today after six years also i cannot forget him, i still love him and in a way hate him also.
