Round 1: Red Wings vs Flames

The Red Wings have been dominating the Flames over the first two games of this series. Game 1 wasn't even close with the Wings taking a 4-0 lead and cruising to a 4-1 victory. It was close for awhile in Game 2 after the Flames scored their only goal of the game to make it 2-1 until Filppula's goal in the third put the game away for the Wings. It was the first time in what feels like ages that the Wings have gone up 2-0 in a playoff series. It feels nice!

Lets hope that they can continue their physical play and offensive play in Calgary. It looks like Todd Bertuzzi is ready to play tonight. It should be a great game! GO WINGS!

WHOO HOO Love the Wings. I have lived in Detroit area all my life and have been to many games. Would love to see them win the cup this year.

You are right, the Red wings have dominated this series, i though Calgary would at least put up a good fight, but the Red Wings obviously wanted to avoid another first round disaster..they look like they are definitely going to be tough to beat this year, but there are lots of good teams in the Western Conference, I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the NHL playoffs, Go Wings..

I hear ya sister....we lost Game 3, but that's okay....it took me about 24 hours to get over it and I think I'm okay now...we'll get em tomorrow night...GOOOOO WINGS!!!!

I figured that the first game in Calgary would be tricky to win. It was a very close game...neither team really outplayed the other. I would be very surprised if the Wings don't start the game like they started Games 1 and 2 with a new focus and score early (and often!) GO WINGS!
