5.  driedmango (193) | 2 years ago |  I used to eat balot when I was still a kid. But now, I'm not for a couple of reasons. First, I have high blood cholesterol so it's not good for my health. The other one is personal so I can't disclose this one.
My question about balot is, is it really good for our knees? The elders keep on telling us before that balot is good for our knees. It will make our knees stronger and younger. But, is it really true?
For other people who dont know what balot is. It is a fertilized duck, preferably 15 days old, cooked by boiling for fifteen minutes. It's yummy. It's tasty. But beware to those who easily vomit.

Hey mind you all, it is expesive in Makati City Php12.00, in Cubao, Quezon City it only cost Php7.50-Php8.50. Why is that? I don't get it, to think that when i eat this food, I need to eat at least 2 of it or i'll be left wanting. So it cost me Php24.00! That is more than the price of a big pack of oishi ridges. lol | |

Filipinos love this exotic food and this is one hell of an exotic food in the philippines. yum yum!
