Material Wealth: In pursuit of happiness

Let's face it, we would all like a little more cash in our pockets. We were taught as children that money is the root of all evil, that greed taints our souls and destroy lives. Reality is often stranger then fiction. Of the filthy rich people out there, how many do you really see unhappy? Sure, you have all gossip newspapers packed with rumors, ugly pictures and what-have-yous. Honestly, don't normal people have similar, if not more, problems? I'm starting to affirm my right to wealth, detoxing myself off all those years of brainwash. Hope everyone can join me on this journey :) p.s. SHOW ME THE MONEY!

yes, i agree that we really need money in our everyday lives..there are some rich people who are not that happy, knowing that they are super rich and they can get all of what they want and need..also money can give the man so bad, that sometimes, they can buy person that can make them happy..i have an aunt whose living in the US and working as a nurse supervisor in the hospital, but i know she's not that happy and contented because she's alone there, that she dont have any one of her family whose living with her, though she has lots of money but i know she's not that happy...money cant buy true happiness..

I agree, money can't buy true happiness. Money is a tool, a force we can use to shape our environment. It cannot directly bring us happiness, but apply it wisely and it can help. :)
