To give your house a lovely aroma as you vacuum, soak a cotton ball in your favourite scent and add it to the vacuum-cleaner bag. Bucket the trend. I cut a hole in the lid of a 20 litre paint bucket and placed it under the overflow pipe of our air-conditioning system to catch the dripping water. My husband uses this water on our garden. Saving water is easy!!

I think this is a wonderful Idea. You could even put a gated valve so that when the bucket fills it would close and not overflow the bucket.

I put a few drops of rose oil inside the bag of my vacuum cleaner. It leaves a very pleasant scent as I vacuum.

we don't have air conditioning pal as it is never that hot here in Scotland but the cotton wool and perfume is a brilliant idea , I buy Ross a lot of aftershave too that I really love the smell of , I often use his aftershave in place of perfume , Thanks again pal , I am doing my best here to get to all of your discussions xx

Great, I like your first tip to give my house a lovely aroma as I vacuum. I will try it very soon. Thanks a lot :) . I do place a paint bucket under the pipe to collect the dripping water for watering plants. I think your container with lid is better as it prevent mosquito from breeding.
