 I just got the album yesterday, IT'S BLOODY FAN-F##KING-TASTIC!I haven't listend to it that much yet to choose my fav track. But I like God-given. NIN, This man never stops to amaze me! His creativity is like a river that never runs dry. Those who don;t know NIN, you better get ready to change your mind of what you know about music!!
I give it 4 stars outa 5. Has anyone bought it yet?

| 2. scarywhitegirl (2477) | 2 years ago |  Love it! My boyfriend picked it up Thursday night, and we listened to it almost right away. It's definitely got some stuff that reminds me of earlier albums, but it's got a unique sound to it as well. Definitely what I like in a NIN album!
Also, the fact that the CD changes colors when it gets warm is just a neat little trick!

You're right about NIN mixing the old and new...I hear traces of closer and a few samples he used in the fragile and the downward spiral.
Yet after 2 albums, NIN haven't topped his ultimate masterpiece "closer", which is the the best song I ever heard in my entire life.

6.  PunkyMcPunk (1093) | 2 years ago |  I ahve heard of the new album but to be honest held off on buying it. I loved his older stuff. Then it became somewhat redundant. Don't get me wrong, he is an amazing visionary and extremely original! He blends industrial and surreal so well and makes it sound so good but after awhile his albums became the same thing over and over.
But I will go out and buy this album because I ahve all of the rest and don't want to stop collecting! Thanks! I'll have to get back to you on what i think of the music though.

| 9. skallagrim (46) | 5 months ago |  i've heard some of it. i honestly think it sucks. at times it's reminecent of Broken's sound but a stagnant version of it. just the titles of these songs are somewhat comical to me. since when was NIN ever about war or politics? i wouldn't be surprised if the next album had a song about high gasoline prices. it seems like he just decided over night that he was going to try to become relevant to a new generation by singing about current events. mid-life crisis, perhaps?
