a classic saga last season, a rematch this year. but things have changed a bit. the erstwhile shorthanded suns last season has now become one of the deadliest team in the nba again. amare stoudemire is back, 100%. no longer playing with a 6'8, the suns are now larger and more versatile. stoudemire and marion could kill opponents inside while barbosa and raja bell could do the outside. and no problem especially when they've go steve nash running the play. on the other hand, kobe bryant is on fire, while the lakers are cold, something not good entering the playoffs. a pure teamplay vs a one-man assault. will phoenix's uptempo game edge and run the lakers out of gas or will kobe have another epic playoffs and finally upset the suns?

I would predict Suns will win their match against the Lakers on Game 6.As expected The Suns won game 1. Leandro Barbosa knew he needed to elevate his game after watching Kobe Bryant erupt for 28 of his 39 points in the first half. The "Brazilian Blur," who tied a playoff career high with 26 points, scored 15 straight Suns points in the second half as Phoenix overcame a 12-point deficit to beat the Lakers in Game 1, 95-87, on Sunday. Amare Stoudemire racked up 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who outscored Los Angeles by 11 in the fourth quarter. Steve Nash registered 20 points and 10 assists, while Lamar Odom had 17 points and 16 boards for the Lakers.

leandro barbosa was named the NBA sixth man for this season, an award he really deserve. as to the game, lakers had a great first half, but still run short in the second half and had a hard time catching up with the suns. i'd expect the same result in game 2
