They are so irritating and annoying. I hate the fact that they keep calling you all day and sometimes late at night. I remember that there was some magazine subscription that I had forgotten about and didn't make the payment and they just kept on calling me and calling me and then I finally just payed double what the bill was to make sure that they didn't call me anymore. Have you had a bad experience with bill collectors? How did you handle them calling?

Well I guess the only way to avoid getting calls from bill collectors is paying your bills before it becomes overdue. I experienced getting a call from the legal office of a certain credit card, the caller was very intimidating and harrassing me for information of my husband. I was cooperating and asking him what I need to pay the outstanding balance that my husband forgot to tell me about but he kept on saying things like "You shouldn't have used the credit card if you can't pay, with what you're doing, you're actually stealing from people!" I simply said "If you're going to speak like an educated person then I will not speak with you too, we have caller ID so I know if you're the one calling, I won't answer the phone" The next day I reported him to the credit card company so I'm sure he got what he deserved.

haha... erm.. i don't have such experience.. but i do know some company are like that.. i've heard some cases from others where they keep calling .. or .. should i be more precise.. harassing their clients? haha..this is what happen when you didn't meet to their requirements.. they need you to pay the bills exactly on that date.. and you didn't right? :) .. what you can do is.. pull of the phone line at night.. so you can get a peaceful sleep.. or you can also meet the manager directly.. and tell him how his staff actually harassed you.. but of course.. do show some proof.. then .. you'll be fine :)
