does anyone make their own chutney, jams,sauces etc....

just wondering, as i starting making my own chutney last year.... and it was soooo easy to make.....and it worked so much cheaper than the shop bought stuff..... and nicer too
do you think that now people think things like this are to complicated to make.. that they just cant be bothered and buy it in the supermarkets.....
