Mom-in-law troubles ...

My future mom-in-law treats me like a kid. She's always telling me what to do and what not to do. Especially when it comes to my son which annoys me so much! I may be a mommy at a very young age but I do know how to take care of my son. I have told my boyfriend about it and he often tells her to stop whenever she's beginning to lecture me. I don't want to be rude and tell her off. What should I do?

It sounds like we both have overbearing mother in-laws, or in your case soon to be. lol
My mother in law is the same way, and I have just gotten to the point where I say thanks for the advice, but I will keep doing it my way. And I just smile and walk away. That is the only way to deal with her. Your boyfriend cannot really help you in this. It is a woman thing. You have to stand up for yourself or she will keep doing it, until you do finally blow up and say something that you don't mean.
I hope that this helps. It is just my opinion, but it has helped me a lot when it comes to dealing with my mother in law. ;0)

Thank you so much for the advice. And I'm relieved that I'm not the only one with this issue lol. I'll take your word for it. I'm scared that one day I will blow though..
