She Certainly Is Funny

The only sit-com that I like more than Roseanne is I Love Lucy, and to me that says a lot. So Far, I only have the first season on DVD, but I have played it to death. Like Lucy, I never seem to get tired of Roseanne's humor.
It is always interesting to see how she is going to handle a problem. She tuff and irrational, most of the time and Dan(John Goodman) gets to be gentle and level headed, most of the time. The only one on that show who can really out do Roseanne in comedy is her youngest daughter Darlene,(Sara Gilbert) watching those two go at it is hilarious.
When I think of Sara Gilbert, I can not help but think about the show that is the perfect opposite of Roseanne. Little House On the Prarie starred Sara Gilbert's adopted sister Melissa Gilbert. Another show that I really like.
It's like those two shows are from different life times, but some how have so many simularities. They were families constantly working hard to make a better life for their families. The parents were very much in love with each other and showed it often on screen.
The shows both dealt with a lot of good issues and kept you wanting to come back for more. They are both classics. We watched the children on both shows grow up. And depending on who you ask, they are likely to be favorites for years to come.
