If you do not have a paypal account then you need an egold account. When I started Mylot I was prompted to have an egold account or paypal and you need your account for any of the two to be able to get your payments from mylot. Paypal is not available in the philippines thats why I opted for egold.

I have paypal account.I think e-gold is a new method to make purchases on line.I always used the computer and all of a sudden I've seen things that you can pay for using e-gold.Maybe I'll set up an account with them too.

E-Gold is just another internet currency like paypal but paypal is far more popular and more secured. If you have paypal then you don't need e-gold. Mylot pays us either through paypal or through e-gold. Generally, people who don't have paypal available in their country go for e-gold. E-gold is not as widely accepted as paypal so sometimes you can get stuck with it. I had an e-gold account, someone got into it and stole my money so from now on I am only using paypal. Its not just me but many people have had their accounts hacked on e-gold. If you still want an e-gold account
