I know this sounds weird, but do you have some sort family tradition based on a movie character or an entire media series? One of my family's tradition has to do with you none other than James Bond. Me eldest brother was a huge fan of Sean Connery, so he bought the watch Sean wore in the original moives, the Rolex submariner. Back in the late 60's. Then my second eldest Brother prefered Roger moore as James Bond so he bought the version Roger wore when he did James Bond in the early 70's. Both of them passed the watches to their sons, to the promise that they, in turn will pass them on to their own children. Continuing this newly found family tradition, Pierce Brosnan was the Bond of my generation, so I bought the watch Pierce wore in GoldenEye, back in 1995. And then the one Daniel Craig wore in Casino Royale, cuase I liked Dan Better heheh...The blue Omega seamaster in 2007. The only difference is, I don't have any children to pass the watches to. LOL!!I also developed a new tradition, but it couldn't last forever. The STARWARS tradidtion. Back in 1997 me and some nephews made an oath that when George Lucas released the, then new, STARWARS prequel, no matter how old we were, how busy in our lives, we would drop EVERYTHING and travel to see the movie. In 1999 we did fullfil the promise and we traveled to malaysia and saw the film with tears in our eyes. We haven't seen eachother for a long time and to the joy of watching Obi-wan kenobi bashing the hell out of that sith lord!:D Do you have any similar traditions? Or are we the only crazy family in the world???

You are not hehehe... No really, in my mother's family they have a tradition there is this diamond ring that my grandmother's mother used to have, she decided to give it to the first to be married daughter.. she did, my grandmother got the ring.. passed it to my mom.. and unfortunately my sister got married before me so she got the ring... I think it's nice to have traditions in the family :)

Hey!! Don't the stars shine in silver nowadays!! congratualtions on your sliver star, and lucky number 7 too! BACK on TRACK: This is a nice family tradition. It's kinda common for mothers to do that, as if it were a race! and don't worry about not getting it first you are a better, flawless diamond than a real one! Thank you for the response. Seems you are the only who cares about my topics these days :-D

Hi my friend Every family has a common trend or let me say common features. For example we don't stay out late in the nite tim (we do on occassions). We like books. We we're kinda the quiet type bla bla bla. As for your question: I and my other brothers have age difference besides we didn't grow up in the same house so we don't have common things in between but from my elder brother i learned to love american classic movies like Gene Kelly's Singing in the Rain, like James Dean's as well and like Jack Lemmon's movies as well. I didn't come out to be like him (phew that 's a relief :D) but there's of course what you call influence. For instance my brother and I have completely different tastes when it comes to music and other stuff 2 See ya

Our dad used to have us IN by 9:00pm, remember the old news TV theme with globe zooming in to your face?? Yeah..that was the sign that we are bloody late and we were to get a bashing if, GOD FORBID, we heared it while we were out. Now I stay out till 3:00am just for the sake of it. My brothers were a great influence on me. I didn't turn like any of them " Thank God for that too" but, they sure made me either more mautre for my age or nuttier for I am still my own persona and my dark qualities are totally mine, if you think am sane or crazy, it's up to you, take your pick!:-P They haven't been together in one room for over ten years, but the last time they were, it was all talk about who was the best james bond and who had the sexier legs, twiggy or blondie, lol! Thanks for giving us a little bit more of you, my frined!
