I've never worked out whether it's better to use a paper towel after washing my hands in public toilets or using the hand dryer.
Apparently, If you are hand dryer fan then it takes 10 seconds to get the water off your hands and you're free to get all the germs back on your hands again from the door handle on your way out.

I don't know if it is true, but I heard that it is more hygienic to use a clean paper towel.
In fact I seem to recall watching an experiment in class, where the teacher worked this out. I am sure that it worked out, as long as you dry your hands properly, after washing them properly the bacteria will be less, than if you did the same with a dryer fan.
That said, the dryer fan was not too far behind and is probably more convenient.
It's very true to say that - well what about the door handle. It is a big concern about bacteria, we are always picking up germs around us all the time.
Luckily the human body is reasonably able to cope with it.

I think there's no wrong with using the paper towel. However on my part I usually just used the hand dryer and never mind using the hand towel at all.
