Do you need a night light when you sleep at night?

I always ensure that I leave a little night light on when I go to sleep. That's because I may need to wake up in the middle of the night and it would be difficult to find my way around in pitch darkness. How about you? Do you usually turn on a night light before you sleep at night? Why or why not?

No, I don't leave a light on when I go to sleep. On the contrary, I like it pith dark. I even hang thick curtains so that the light outside would not shine through the window. That's how dark I like it. I even turn off the light when I'm watching tv. I don't know, I just like the comfort of being in the dark. My friend tried to analyze me once. She said I was stuck up on being in mom's belly before birth and that I always want to recreate that environment. I don't know if that's for real.

I never leave a light on at night. That would keep me awake. I have lived in my place long enough that I can pretty well find my way around with my eyes closed anyway.
