Ok, I will tell you, but you have to promise not to laugh!
We got our 1/2 beagle 1/2 chow at a shelter here in West Virginia. He took right to our family and was the only dog that "adopted" me as the master...it was usually my late husband.
My collection started out relatively small, you know...a keychain, a figurine, then a picture. Then, I decided that I needed to take him for a professional studio picture...they were so cute that I just had to buy several different "poses".
Then there were the dog related items...the food dishes, doggie placemats, leashes collars etc.
Well the collection grew so big that I didn't know what to do with everything...so I decided to theme one of the bathrooms.
I found some towels with paw prints on it...and it just took off from there!
I use the leashes/collars for drape and shower curtain pull backs. I have a small doggie dish for a soap dish. I found a toy fire hydrant that I cut the top out of, sanded down and use for toilet paper storage.
Needless to say, THere are pictures of our "buzzy" and other pooches all over the walls.
I even took one of this professional pictures and had it scanned and made clear stick ons for the mirrors.
I stenciled paw prints from the door to the toilet on our floor.
I found a wicker dog bed that I roll towels up in for towel storage.
So, to make a long story short, Everything that we find with dog bones or paw prints go into that bathroom!
Ok, I may have carried it to far, but at least it is contained in one room of the house...and our guests seem to love it!
