Generoso Bridge 1 ( old bankerohan bridge)  | |  To the visiting public or to anyone who wants to visit davao this summer, here is a little news for you.
The Generoso Bridge 1 or the old bankerohan bridge is impassable due to the damages it incurred for being old. The projected construction of a new bridge is 6 months but the start of project has not been announced yet. The reported 300million pesos for the construction of the new bridge is either approved or still pending.
With these little problem, expect high traffic in the bankerohan-sandawa area and also the bankerohan-quirino area. ALternate routes is the bolton bridge and the diversion bridge, but if your a private vehicle you can also pass through marfori heights and take the DIHO-Gem village bridge and will take you directly to ma-a highway.
