You might be puzzled at what I mean by the New DisneyWorld..you see my mom and I were there when it first opened back in the 1970's..and that is quite awhie ago...back then the only resorts were the Polynesian Village which I absolutely loved and the Contemporary..so I'm just wondering how much it has changed...I did go to the website one time and they show a new resort that is themed after An African safari kind of thing...that's for me..just bet it costs a bit...in fact I bet Disneyworld in general costs a lot to go--also if any of you have actually stayed at that one resort..the african one..please by all means tell me what it's like!!!

Well I haven't been to that resort but I can tell you that it's changed a lot since the 70's. When I first went there it was back in the 70's as well,we had the different tickets for different rides :) Now it's just on price to get in and it includes everything. You also have 3 other parks besides the Magic Kingdom. There is MGM studios, EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Now I didn't care that much for MGM or Animal Kingdom but that was a person thing. Most of MGM was designed for shopping. They had one great ride, Tower of Terror, and a few other rides but most where shows or shopping. Animal Kingdom at that time just didn't have much, it hadn't been open long. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are very good. There are changes to Magic Kingdome but you'll be able to find some things familiar, like the Haunted Mansion, Space mountain, and It's A Small World. The last time I stayed there it was at one of the lower end resorts, The Movies one. I love Fort Wildnerness but that is for camping although they have cabins you can rent. If you go to the website take a look at the maps and listing for rides. I'm sure you'll be amazed at how much has changed and yet some things are still the same. You can also get prices for tickets there. They aren't cheap, sadly, but hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Oh..I used to love the Haunted Mansion...heheh...and the Pirates of the Caribbean area--last I was there was OMG..1978!!! I really do hope to go back there some day--it is a tad expensive..I did look at prices. and oh my goodness...for the prices they charge you might as well go to Europe! When my mom and I first went rooms in the Polynesian or Contemporary were only $50 per night..and we thought that was a lot cause in the past we'd go somewhere, usually Lancaster, Pa (over and over and over again...mom had a real thing for PA) and we'd stay at a Howard Johnson..for $15 a night..so $50 was expensive then for us...I was always trying to get my mom for us to stay in one of the treehouses they had (use to??) but she was terrified thinking that we'd be so isolated ---
