Accidental erased a file needed by my printer, and I can't find the disc!  |

|  Help! I accidentally erased a file that my printer needs in order to communicate with my computer. It was the file that enables me to scan photos. OK..I know that was stupid, but now I need to be able to put that information back in so that I can scan photos again.
To make matters worse, I can not find the disc containing the setup information. I looked in the owners manual and there is no telephone number listed for replacements.
How can I get this information for my HP officejet 4215v all-in-one printer?

| |  oh my goodness! My HP stopped scanning recently! it says file missing or needs to be installed or something like that. And I DO have my discs and HAVE installed them.... still I get that error. do you think we may have picked up a web virus that attacks HP's?

| |  Next time, try FileScavenger. This is a utility software that is very good in recovering/restoring accidentally erased or deleted files (even if it's gone in the recycle bin).
