Moving on to Round 2

After last night's double overtime victory against the Calgary Flames, the Red Wings are moving on the Round 2. It is their first trip to the second round since 2004, where they were eliminated by the Flames. Any preferences for the Red Wing's second round opponent? Based on the regular season records, Dallas would have to be the preferred opponent. 3-0-1 with the overtime loss being the game that the Wings blew a 3-0 lead in the third. It'll all be decided tonight in the Vancouver/Dallas Game 7. Great game by the Wings...you could tell that they wanted to finish it and not rely on their home ice dominance to come through again in Game 7. Great game by Kipper as well...without him, the game would have been a blowout. The Flames didn't challenge Hasek much with just 21 shots on goal in 4+ periods of play.
