 I'm really biased... I like Chloe better - feisty journalist but she always gets hurt because of Clark. Haha. Lana Lang started out as the pretty "everyone's dream girl" type but I like the fact that her character evolved into one with a stronger personality eventually.

| 2. munkeyfaerie (34) | 1 year ago |  Definately Chloe. I don't know what it is, but I've just never really liked Lana for some reason. And I*never* understood why Clark was so in love with her, other than the fact that that's how it was in the comics.
I have to say though, I really liked how it turned out in Lex's head when he was shot at Christmas (when he was running for office against Jonathon Kent). I think that would be the way I would prefer everything to go. Although, I suppose it wouldn't be the whole Superman thing if it had gone that way, haha.

4.  rockerwitch (446) | 1 year ago |  I like Chloe better now. I used to like Lana a lot, well, because she's so sweet and pretty. But when got to season 4 I think, I started to hate her. She was all like, "I don't need your help! I don't need saving!" but then she goes on and gets kidnapped or whatever and will be eventually saved by Clark. And that dude Jason. Up until early season 6 she was like that. It's like her character can't live a day without a boyfriend! did you notice that? There was Whitney for 1 and 2, I forgot for season 3, then there's Jason for 4, she finally hooks up with Clark at 5 and then now Lex at 6. I mean, hello. Have a backbone. But now in the recent episodes I've come to like her again because as you said she's become a strong character. I love it that she's learning from Lex.

And then she always gets to hurt Clark, having all those boyfriends even when he was still head over heels for her. In the process, my favorite Chloe always got shunned and hurt... aw. | |

| apeface29 (8) | 1 year ago | I definitely like Chloe better and always have. Clark and Chloe have this fun dynamic and chemistry together (similar to Mulder and Scully who I loooooove together). While Clark and Lana have a serious dynamic that's just kind of a downer. I think Chloe would be a real help to Clark and also someone who could bring him back down to earth if he gets all stressed and broody. Maybe it wouldn't be so if Allison mack didn't kick so much butt as Chloe, but it is. I just feel a better fit between Clark and Chloe. It's a shame it's not to be as she was never in the comic world. It's a relationship the show's constantly screwd over. The most I can hope for is that Chloe and Clark can be together just for a bit- knowing full well he's meant to be with Lois in the end. I don't have a problem with Lois in general. But Erica Durance's portrayal of her is a bit annoying and unreal. If she was a bit more like Allison Mack and a bit less of a blow-up doll type, I'd be happier. She is so strong. I can remember that she and Clark had a little thing back then. I think it was in season 3 or 4... Somewhere then. Chloe did tell Clark that she had feelings for him and they kind of tried it out for a few days but it didn't work so they just remained friends after that. | |

She keeps saying she doesn't need protecting but most of the time she has a knack for getting into trouble. Chloe is feisty alright, and also gets herself into big trouble but she is almost always a big help to Clark. Maybe it's because she knows who Clark really is and Lana doesn't. Anyway I like Chloe's character better than Lana Lang.

She doesn't let her insecurities get her in way, though she has a moments of weakness. Lana is the stereotypical damsel in distress that guys are attracted like moth to a flame. Which is sometimes, unfair, when u are a Chloe, trying to be strong when the tide is swirling. Coz in the end she doesn't get Clark:-(
