Eragon: Movie vs. Book

I only saw the movie but when I was watching it I felt that something was missing, I am intrigue to know that this was a book and I will be looking to purchase it because I would really like to read what they omitted.

Yeah I saw the movie too, agree that something was missing. They say about fiction movies, the book is always waay better than the film. Another example is the Harry potter series. I think im gna read thee book and find out for myself. I think the next book is called Eldest?
