Idol gives back show   

Melinda.

Everyone raves about Jordin, but I thought she sort of shouted the performance. Lakisha was good, but chose the wrong song. She is probably the one going home. Blake wasn't as bad as the judges said.

I agree! I think Chris was wonderful! His voice was so magical. His song gave me chills. He got my vote after vote after vote. Melinda was excellent as usual. =)

I have to say that in my opinion Jordin was the best last night. That girl keeps getting better and better each week. Her song last night was so good and so fitting for the night. She got my votes last night, over and over and over and over....well, I think you get the picture. She is the one I voted for.

wow! i think they all did a good job last night.an it was hard to choose on who to vote for.i voted for melinda doolittle.but i think blake will be the one voted off this week.

i don't know.. they all gave a great performance.. but i really enjoyed melinda.. and jordin... last night's show...was probably one of the best idol episodes i have seen among all the seasons...i don't know it feels so peaceful... (it just goes with their theme. Idol gives back)

I think Jordin gave the best performance this week. Melinda was a close second. Both vocals were exceptional. And I think both performances were their personal bests so far.

I thought that Jordin did real well, though I have heard many say that she sounded like she was shouting or screaming rather than singing. For me, I thought she hit the notes just right. I rather liked Melinda and voted for her. With all the criticism about Blake's choice, I thought he sang his song very well and could have voted for him, too. In fact, I should have as it would have meant another donation.

Chris did do a great job last night as did Phil,Melinda, and Jordin. Remember that Jordin is still young and has room for improvement. I truly believe that Lakisha is the one to go home and I must say that I did like her in the beginning,but the last two weeks have been bad performances for her. These are the weeks that song choice is one of the most important things to think about in the competition and hers have been bad!

I think Chris didn't sound good as usual. His voice is all over the place and very whiny. At times, he sounds like a boy going through puberty. Melinda did great and Jordin continues to show why she should be the next Idol as she is a bona fide pop star in the making. No one else, except maybe Blake, will be able to transition from this show to the pop world. Phil will be a good country singer but not even close to being a pop star. It was a decent night but nothing great.

I think that Jordan did the best Tuesday night...
