 I don't believe it because there are people who have been in long engagement and end up separated. There are those who just meet for a little while and end up marriage. So it's not a good reason to have long engagement because you are still not sure if you are meant to each other. Do you agree?

Me and my boyfriend have a long engagement because of reasons like this. It isn't that we are unsure that we want to get married. We definitely want to be together and get married. I have been engaged to my boyfriend for about 4 years and we will never split up. That is an honest and true fact.

| 4. skbh12 (1020) | 5 months ago |  well it really depends on the couple if they don't really want to proceed to marriage yet. but for me i don't want to have a long engagement.. hahaha! if i get engaged then i would like to go down the aisle after a year to have time for the preparation for my wedding.
it is up to the couple if they will work things out during their engagement period. there are times maybe they end up separated because they get tired of waiting for each other or the time they realize that they don't really love one another.
well i hope this won't ever happen to me because i want my present to be my last and be with the person i want to send my life with.
