I had to go to Court today to make arrangements to pay this fine. I am glad the judge gave me more time he was nice. but I ran into this girl I haven't seen in 10 years, She was so upset, she told me her son had just died last Thursday in a car accident, his funeral is tommorow, she told me that she told the courts that her son had just died, and that she wasn't albe to make her court date, the Court system told her that was her problem. was'nt that a little harsh? They don't care about anything all they want is there money, I felt so bad for her. I guess she made arrangements.

After some recent experiences I have come to the same conclusion. It seems there is no place for compassion in today's legal system.
A good judge needs to keep his heart involved when he makes a decision. A one size fits all approach really doesn't work.

That poor lady, she lost her son and now the court is treating her this way. The courts can be so cold towards people. They just don't care unless you have lots of money to have a high powered attorney to represent you. My heart goes out to her, I hope things go better for her with the court system.

Thats terrible. Is there somewhere she can file a complaint about this? Hopefully she can get this worked out before tomorrow. Glad the judge was nice to you and gave you more time.
