What do you think about IKEA furniture?

My daughter bought my grandson dressers from Ikea. I was amazed at how heavy they were. Dont have to worry about the little climber tipping them over. They seem to be very high quality.

well i think that store is great and the quality of the furniture is also very superior. its long lasting and portable. if you are thinking of buying more furniture i suggest you buy it from IKEA if it's not too expensive for you. i once bought a lamp from there. my aunt bought many things from ikea. and she really doted on them .

I've heard that the quality is not high. that's because most of the furniture is made with chipboard. you can ask the staff. they will tell you it's chipboard, which is less sturdy than plywood or solid wood (like teak).

however, for items that you don't think will be subject to much stress, you can still buy them from ikea. for instance, i would not get my bed frame for ikea. however I got some bookcases from there. i paid for the ikea men to assemble it. 5% of price of furniture. and it was SO FAST! don't believe the ads about how easy it is. it's difficult if you're not a professional.

I purchased IKEA IVAR brand rack and I love it. My husband really into IKEA stuffs. I like to see more ideas and coming up products!
