At what age did you let your daughter ware makeup?

My daughter is five, She is always playing in and putting on my makeup. I make her take it off. I notice at the store the have the kiddie make up kits. I personally prefer her without the makeup. I see other very youngs girls wearing it as well. What age do you think is appropriate.

I have two stepdaughters one 9 and one 13, the 9 year old does play with the kids makeup it is safe and alright for her and the 13 year old is just starting to wear real makeup I think as long as they don;t overdo putting it on it is fine..most start alot younger I know but I think for real makeup 13 is a good age..that is the age that I use anyway why not sure maybe cause they are in 7th grade and it is the in thing these days for that age to start wearing it.
